In June, we published an audio clip of immigrant children separated from their parents at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility. The story quickly gained a large audience and changed the focus of the immigration debate to the people caught up in the administration’s policy. Soon after, President Trump reversed his policy through an executive order. We continue to dig into the conditions at these facilities where immigrant children are being held, just today publishing an article about a shelter in Chicago
